What do you think is one of the most important issues in our macro economy right now?

One of the most critical macroeconomic problems affecting the US economy today is unemployment. Unemployment has been caused by the impact of COVID 19 in the US. Unemployment has led to severe financial hardships for the citizens, increasing poverty in the economy. It has also caused a rise in crime rates, such as theft, as people try to satisfy their basic wants. Moreover, there has been a substantial decrease in the taxes collected, i.e., the government's income tax as a significant population has been left jobless due to the pandemic.
