What causes a supply curve to shift to the right?

Factors causing the supply curve to shift to the right include:

• Input prices- If the price of the raw materials used for manufacturing decreases, there will be a rise in supply. This shifts the supply curve to the right.
• Technological improvements- If advancing technology causes an increase in quantity supplied, the supply curve will shift to the right.
