Everyone, regardless of their wealth, faces scarcity. The argument is attributed to the fact that resources are limited. Besides, money can't buy literally everything. An ideal example signifying that individuals with unlimited funds that are subject to scarcity is Bill Gates, the well-known founder of Microsoft. His massive wealth has enabled Gates to initiate various projects focused on eradicating poverty. The most renowned is the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. It's important to note that Bill Gates wishes to fund many projects. However, he can't manage to assist the whole world and completely eradicate poverty and suffering because, as we just covered, resources are limited.

Additionally, Bill Gates only has 24 hours in a day like everyone else (not including the amount of time he has to sleep); this is scarcity at work, but in this case, it's scarcity of time. Because of this, he has to make choices and determine his priorities on the best way to spend his scarce time. The fact that human wants are virtually unlimited explains why it's crucial to reduce the wants in order to deal with the problem of scarcity as best we can.
