Part A: Download the Database file from Blackboard:

1. Go to Quizzes and Test on your blackboard site,

2. Click on Assignment 3 and download the company file. (Company file will be downloaded as a

zipped file)

3. Locate the downloaded file, right click to unzip the folder

4. Open the 07 C7-2 Glass file using Sage 50 2018.0 and rename the company name from setting ->

Information to “07 C7-2 Glass, Student's Name.”

5. Note: “Any report without the name will be marked as Zero”

Part B: Enter Transactions using Sage 50 2018.

• Go to Challenge exercise 07 C7-2, Glass on your textbook on page 7-437, and follow the instruction

to complete the challenge exercise.

• Complete all the transactions from Jan 02 to Jan 24 using the instructions.

Part C: Export the required reports

Export the following reports as a PDF: Save the following reports on desktop and name it as follow:

(Please see the guide to save and export the report as PDF)

1. Employee detail (All employee for month of January) (File Name “R1_Yourlastname_Employee

detail”)

Part D: Save the backup file:

1. Save the backup file on your desktop

2. Go to file -> click on backup ->

a. File name: “A_3_Glass”

b. Location – Save the file on desktop

Part E: Upload the files on blackboard

1. Go to Assignment 3 on blackboard, click on Assignment 3 Drop box.

2. Scroll down to Assignment Submission, click on brose my computer

3. Locate the files saved under Part C and D

a. R1_Yourlastname_Employee detail (PDF)

b. A_3_Glass (company datafile backup)

4. And then click Submit.

Note: All assignments are to be completed independently by you, any coping or using somebody’s else

files will be considered as Plagiarized and could result into academic penalty for both the students.
