One of the most important aspects of our work lives is a proper orientation. This first impression of a new work environment will have a tremendous impact on our attitudes and performance. Good managers know the value of a quality on-boarding (orientation) program. Please read this article about onboarding (Links to an external site.). As a class, please discuss your experiences with orientation to new employment, or even your respective academic programs.
