Human Service Organizational Analysis (Fact sheet and Discussion Board): Based on your area of interest, select one major Health of Human service organization and evaluate its various qualities. Your evaluation should include the organization’s 

• purpose/mission,
• services and support,
• population focus,
• advocacy and policy influence,
• identify significant gaps in regulation and financial oversight,
• analyze the potential organizational risks resulting from one of the identified gaps
• how can the association influence policy with lobbying efforts or other advocacy
• those that could benefit from the organization and potential policy

Be sure to concisely and informatively communicate the organization’s purpose and value (i.e. your findings). Create it as if you were going to present your findings and fact sheet to anyone interested in your topic/organization. Students will upload their fact sheet and use voice thread to present online as if they were facilitating a seminar to vulnerable adults and their families.

The fact sheet should be 1-2 pages in length. (SLO 1, 2, 4) (15% of course grade).
