Balance federal budget is when the expenditure of the government is equal to the revenue of the government. The advantages of having federal budget balance are:

• If the government has balanced budget, then the government will not make any unnecessary expenditures.
• Having balanced Federal budget will lead to reduction in the chances of the deficit of the trade also because unnecessary transactions will be avoided.
• Balanced federal budget will also lead to reduction in the level of interest rates and will build the confidence of the investors in the government and its ability to repay.
• As a result of this the investment on the needed areas of the economy will increase.
• This will lead to increase in the speed of the growth pf the economy.

For these reasons, it is a good idea to have a balanced budget in the economy.
