The people or groups in a partnership take part in that particular business, project or venture jointly. According to Melia (2014b), a partnership normally brings together individuals and groups from the private, voluntary and the public sectors. These groups go ahead to share the risks, the failures and the success of the initiative that they are working towards. The coming together of the various entities in a partnership allows them to maximize on their intellectual, as well as their financial resources to ensure that there is success in a long term development initiative.
