Select a specific, current environmental or human population problem, explain the role of humans in creating the problem, and what should be done to reduce or reverse the negative impact. Draw from the reading assignments as much as possible, giving specific references for your information.

Prepare a slide-presentation on your subject matter (PowerPoint or other presentation graphics software as long as it is readable by others). The presentation should have a title slide, and a references slide, including at least one video on your topic, along with 8-10 slides of content. Please remember that a slide presentation accompanies an oral presentation so the slides do not have to hold all the information - just key/talking points. Use pics, clip art or illustrations where possible. Please avoid adding a whole paragraph or two of text (especially copied from a source) to any one slide. Pay attention to readability of slides when projected at a lecture in a classroom of 30 students.
