I need help better understanding what this sentence means. I unfortunately do not understand it. If someone could please re word it so maybe a person who doesn't have the best vocabulary can understand it.
"However, the modern era speculates population issues based on series of preindustrial cultural evolution that relies on technology and information flows in a bid to achieve sustainable economic growth (Stultz, 2014)."
