Discussion Questions: 1. As an Indiana taxpayer, reflect on the Carrier deal. Do you support it? Why or why not? Now suppose you are a Carrier worker whose job was not part of the deal and will now be sent to Mexico. Does your response change? 
2. Discuss what the Carrier deal means for other U.S. companies. Do you think it will change the way they make decisions to manufacture in Mexico? Is it realistic to expect government intervention like that which occurred with Carrier? As a stockholder in Carrier what do you think of the deal? 
3. Discuss the ethics of the Carrier deal. Using ethics theories, consider whether companies have an obligation to their stockholders to do whatever makes the most profit sense or whether they have a responsibility to their stakeholders to keep jobs in the local economy even if it makes more profit sense to move them to Mexico.
