The main obstacles for finding sustaining and meaningful work is not because of economic shifts. The economic shifts in the US like the service based shifts, the industry based shifts, have been successful in the country and have led to the growth and development.

The main causes are racism and the supremacy by the whites in the country. This leads to lower level of working and low productivity of the blacks and they cannot contribute totally for the betterment of the country. Some deserving people do not get opportunities and this becomes an obstacle.
