Observe themes and patterns in the portrayal of the woman in the advertisement(s) and what the advertisement(s) might be trying to accomplish.
-Note several of the features of the advertisement (i.e., is the woman's face displayed? is she making eye contact/has an averted gaze? is the woman clothed/with how much/what color? where is the consumer's attention supposed to be drawn? How much text is in the ad? How large is the woman in relation to the product being sold?)
-Then, integrate your impressions in your discussion from the documentary and your findings based on the advertisements. As always, you are encouraged to include and reflect on any relevant personal experiences!
