This discussion will be worth 40 points and you can get up to 25 extra credit points by responding to your fellow classmates. Please answer each of the following items:
My name is Yia but I go by my middle name which is Nina. I don’t mind if anyone wants to call me by my first name if you can pronounce it correctly. I am a returning student. I have an associate degree in Early Childhood Education and I have been working with young children for many years. I am taking this course because it is a requirement for transfer to Sacramento State University. My goal is to learn as much as I could on how to record transactions, categorize transactions, reconcile statements, budgeting and so on.
My major is Business - Concentration in Accounting. Due to Sacramento State University not having an Accounting degree, I have to major in Business. Once I transfer, I will concentrate on Accounting. I know it is a lot of work but I hope to get there someday. I have one more semester at Sacramento City College before I can transfer. I hope to graduate within two years after I transfer. Now, I am working full time and taking online courses full time. I will have to quit my job after I transfer so that I can stay focused in school because Sac State is pretty expensive and I do not want to fail.
As for quickbook online learning, I pretty much want to learn everything about it. I don’t have any experience with quickbook so anything about quickbook that I can learn in this class will help me succeed.
If I could only have one type of food for the rest of my life, I would have sirloin steak. I know that too much red meat is bad for the heart but I love sirloin steak and I can eat sirloin steak anytime if it cooks correctly.
