The figures below show seismograms from three stations. Identify each of the waves and record their arrival times in the table provided on the next page. Then, use subtraction to determine the delay time between the P-wave arrival and that of the S-wave, the S-wave from the Love wave, and the Love from the Rayleigh. Here, to make it easier to read, each vertical solid line represents 1 minute, with each dashed vertical line representing an additional 15 seconds. Remember that each of the horizontal lines need to be read from left to right, and from top to bottom, just like the lines on a book.
