Your initial discussion thread is due on Day 3 (Thursday) and you have until Day 7 (Monday) to respond to your classmates. Your grade will reflect both the quality of your initial post and the depth of your responses. Reference the Discussion Forum Grading Rubric for guidance on how your discussion will be evaluated.
 

     

Qualitative   Versus Quantitative

 Provide a minimum of two reasons why healthcare quality is difficult to measure.  Provide a minimum or two reasons why qualitative quality measurements may be more beneficial than quantitative measurements and vice versa.   Provide two examples of a qualitative measurement revised to be a quantitative measurement.
 

Guided Response:  Your initial post should be a minimum of 300 words. Post a minimum of two follow-up responses to peers by Day 7. Each peer response should be a minimum of five full sentences.  Do you or agree with your fellow classmate’s post?  Why or why not? Recommend a different example of converting a qualitative measure to a quantitative measure.  Your three required posts must be on three different days of the week.
