1)Solve Problem P3.20 using force equilibrium; i.e., internal force caused by stress is equal to external force.

2)Consider two bar elements under a force at the tip. Using the Displacement controlled method, plot the load–displacement curve (F vs. u₂ and u₃). Increase the tip displacement u₃ up to 1.0 m by ten equal increments. Assume St. Venant–Kirchhoff material with E=100 MPa and crosssectional areas of A⁽¹⁾=1.0*10^-4 m² and A⁽²⁾=0.5*10^-4 m².
