It is not the sample size only. It is how the sample is selected. If we assume that the sample is selected randomly then we can say that larger is the sample size more accurate the results are.

As an increase in the sample size brings the sample closer to the population. More close the sample is to the population more precise the results are. Thus, more reliable.
