This Week's Topic Ferd Berfel and Fannie Farfel work at Mega Corp. Fannie's supervisor finds social media posts that show her and Ferd partying like rock stars in Cabo. With these images fresh in his mind, the supervisor requests that the IT Department conduct a search of both Fannie and Ferd's company owned technology equipment. After completing the research, Fannie's supervisor uses this information to suspend Fannie from work for one week without pay and submits a written warning into her personnel file. Is this action an invasion of Fannie's privacy? Is the action taken by the supervisor appropriate? As her supervisor, what actions, if any, might you take?
