Amana-The term Amana originates from the bible meaning believe faithfully or remain true from the book of songs of Solomon 4:8. The Amana church has changed and is now known as the community of true inspiration. The church followers are inspired by their church name, as they believe the only way to salvation is by studying the bible, living faithfully, and being true.

Nirvana-this term is derived from the word blow out which means putting out fires of greed hatred and delusion. Nirvana is used to extinguish earthly sorrows or sufferings and make them disappear.

Chi- the term chi means air or breath but also is referred to as the energy flow or life force that is said to spread all things. Its quality, quantity, and balance is believed to maintain health and achieve a long life.

Maya- the Maya religion developed in the west before arrival of the Spanish. They worshipped nature gods such the gods of the sun or rain. The main significance of the ballgame highlights the Mayas belief in life death and rebirth/resurrection.

Sabbath- the term Sabbath is derived from the bible in the story of God’s creation in the book of genesis. He created earth in 6 days and rested on the 7th day. Its significance is for Christians to take rest from their busy schedules and have a day to honor God and keep it holy as written in the commandments.

Dharma- the term dharma means hold, bear or to support. Its significance is to regulate a course of change by not getting involved with the change.

Dukha- the act of trying to grasp, cling, having passion or craving for something that cannot be obtained. Its significance is to ensure religion is based on experimenting all things either natural or spiritual as a meaningful unity.

Hermeneutics-this is the study of interpretation concerning books that includes all forms of communication. It helps in dialogues and interpretation in the nature of human thought.

Catharsis- the word catharsis is derived from a Greek word kathoros meaning to purify or keeping it clean. It is used by Christians by using it in the beyond limits of ordinary experience to that free or cleanse souls.

Miasma- the term miasma is a Greek mythology that means a contagious power that has another independent life of its own until a wrongdoer who sacrifices to die to help cleanse the society from getting infected by catastrophes (Patton, 2006).

She is against these religious practices by contaminating it with the dirt it’s used to wash away, there creatures that live in it and need to survive.

Explain how Ivan Illich argues the history of our perception to waste.

Illich argued that people are reacting in the face that signals the change of an era and of an epistemic break. People daily continue to assume that their moral and social obligation is refusing to obey the subject in authority to affirm their independence from the subject in order to reduce being slaves or being made the systems’ subsystems. In this they show class subjection exists. The energy each person is able to control daily is freedom regulated by common law.
