Describe the traditional Latinx family structure and the associated cultural values. What implications do they have for client resilience, client stress, and for culturally competent counseling practice? How can these strengths be capitalized on and incorporated into counseling? What can counselors do to reduce the likelihood that these values will not become a source of misunderstanding/misinterpretation in counseling?
