The director of the local tourism board recently saw your work for the museum, and has hired you to work on a new project about local architecture

Computer Science

The director of the local tourism board recently saw your work for the museum, and has hired you to work on a new project about local architecture.Follow the instructions on page 211 but take note of my additional instruction here: They said to use 'at least' 10 images and I am changing that to use 5 to 10 images at most.

Please note: the textbook has you find  at least 10 different images of Los Angeles metropolitan area local architecture to prepare for use in a booklet that promotes tourism. The textbook does not specify how you use the images, but it does tell you to 'clean them up of any graffiti or trash' and to adjust the tonal range and gray balances as needed and that is what I will be looking for when grading your lab submissions.

Also, please use the color profile given to you in the Art Director's comments on page 211. As for the 5-10 images used, you may combine some of them together in a composite image  (or several composite images) or you may have 5-10 separate .psd files to turn in. Whatever you choose, please put it all in one folder with the naming convention of LastNameFirstInitial_Lab3.zip. If you have any questions about this, please let me know.

**** Make sure that you include the original images in each .psd file. For the original images, you will use that as the bottom layer of each .psd file and name that layer “Original Image”. Duplicate that layer and call the duplicate layer “Edits”. For example, if you have a file named ArtDecoBuilding.psd,

then  include its original image as the bottom layer and name it “Original Image” and right above it in the layers panel will be the duplicated layer named “Edits” and that is the one you are to do your edits on. That way, I can toggle on & off the visibility of the edits layer to more easily see what kinds of edits you have done so do all of your edits to the Edits layer and do not edit the "Original Image" layer. Do NOT flatten any of these files.  If you flatten them, I will score each flattened image as a zero. Any questions, please email me for clarification. Thank you! ****To submit your lab, you will take your folder with your completed project files inside it and put them into a zipped file with your LastNameFirstInitial_Lab3 as the file name. Then submit it as a file upload in the lab's dropbox.
