As demonstrated in course readings, and videos such as OH&S Today 1.5 and Lost Youth, young workers continue to be at significant risk of occupational injury, illness and fatality. As the newly appointed Health and Safety Manager for a paving company that hires young workers on contract during the late spring and summer months, your first responsibility is to prepare a brief report for senior management about the risks and hazards young workers may face and outline a plan for keeping young workers healthy and safe.
