2. A clinical psychologist with the U.S. military is concerned that troop morale in war regions is low. She hypothesizes that the greater the number of tours a soldier has served, the worse his or her morale will be. To test this hypothesis:

1. Design an experiment using a within-subjects experimental design to test her hypothesis regarding morale levels and the number of tours a soldier has served.

2. Specify how your design is experimental. In other words, explain how you will use manipulation and comparison/control, and explain how you will control for possible order effects in your design.
