Conduct a literature review by searching an online database (e.g., PsycINFO) and typing in keywords to search for factorial designs. From your search, choose any two factorial designs that interest you the most. For the purposes of this activity, you should choose designs with only two or three factors so that you can more readily understand the design. Complete the following assignment:

1. Identify each factor and the number of levels of each factor. Also state whether each factor is an independent variable or a quasi-independent variable.

2. Identify if the design is a between-subjects, within-subjects, or mixed factorial design. If you choose a mixed factorial design, then also identify the between-subjects factor(s) and within subjects factor(s).

3. State the main effects and interactions found in each study you chose. Use the variable names to identify each effect. For example, state “a main effect of imagery” and not “a main effect of one factor.”
