Turkish language reform/ Iran reforms began in the 18th century (I believe Israel's 19th century) and continues to the present day within the context of language planning. The article should aim to reveal how these reforms affected the Turkish/Persian/ Jewish languages. Although Modern Turkey served to unify a nation, the result of the language reform has destroyed the syncretic culture of the Osmanli and removed a portion of its literary and cultural heritage from Turkish culture. Reforms weren't successful in Iran; the language reforms were the opposite of Turkey in Israel. In Israel, the language was almost extinct; however, the language managed the survive. Thus, the article will examine the reforms to determine the approach the Kemalists in Turkey, Iran, and Israel employed to modify language, culture, and heritage.
