Oprah Winfrey, Leonardo DiCaprio, LeBron James, Brad Pitt, and Beyoncé are in a hot air balloon. It is sinking because it is too heavy. The only way for anyone to survive is for the other four to be thrown out of the balloon. Of the five celebrities, who
should survive?

1. Use the different methods of persuasion (ethos, pathos, and logos) to support your written arguments.
2. Break down why each celebrity would be eliminated through a process of elimination.
3. Conduct additional research about each person to also help support your decision (you may wish to look at the different contributions each one of these celebrities have/have not made, their following, their character, etc). What factors contribute to your decision to allow this celebrity to survive?
