Macbeth: The Soundtrack

Now's your chance to put music to Macbeth!

As we have been reading, we've been highlighting crucial points in the plot, as well as important

themes and motifs.

Use your knowledge of Macbeth's themes, characters, plot, setting, and other aspects to make a

soundtrack of your choice of songs to the play.

What each soundtrack must include:

1. A minimum of five (5) songs

2. At least one of these songs must address a specific-theme or main idea of the play

The remaining songs can address a point in the plot, setting, atmosphere, character, or another aspect of the play

of your choice.

3. LINER NOTES: This is the most important part! Liner notes must include track number (in

this soundtrack), artist, title, the exact point in the play when it would be begin to be played, an

explanation of the aspect of the text being addressed and specific lines and/or lyrics that are

especially relevant, and the complete lyrics (if the song is lyrical)
