The topic below is offered for your consideration.  Given the overarching theme of the course, your essay should focus on some aspect of Bahamian identity and culture.

1. The current stream of immigrants to the Bahamas reveals racially, ethnically, and culturally diverse populations. Discuss the impact of this trend, whether negative or positive, on Bahamian attitudes, worldviews, way of life, and general ethos. Your thesis should convey a specific stance and you should provide/select carefully considered references to support your argument.
