Vagina Monologues were created and performed by Eve Ensler, debuted off-Broadway in 1996.  This controversial work soon received national acclaim and continues to be performed around the world.  It has been translated in 14 languages and has been performed in over 30 countries.  Some might state that the monologues were based upon her personal experiences.  Fortunately, that is not the case.  Ensler interviewed over 200 women about their sexual experiences, body image, genital mutilation, direct and indirect encounters with reproduction, vaginal care, menstrual periods, sex work, and an abundance of other topics through the eyes of women from various ages, races, sexualities, and other differences.

Research has shown that most females have NEVER looked at the genitalia, unlike men.

Take a good look at your genitals.  Do not be afraid . . . They are always with you!!  Have a nice, long conversation with your PENIS.

1.  What would your genitals say if they had the opportunity to talk, have an really intimate conversation with you?  In sixteen sentences, have a written (text messaged) conversation with your genitals.  What would your genitals say to YOU if they could talk.  What would be your response?

This assignment should be written as a two person conversation.
