Imagine that you are in a conversation with someone who is convinced that there really isn't systemic racism in the United States, and that they are not themselves racist, but they don't see that there is anything that needs to be done to increase representation of non-white people in positions of influence, or in college, or that there is discrimination in housing, education etc. How would you persuade them that there are injustices in the United States that need to be address? (and bring up one of the readings to make your case)
