Discussion Board Topic: A law enforcement officer arrests a group of individuals for standing outside a Jewish temple with signs that indicate disbelief in the holocaust.  What are the possible criminal acts that the officer may have used to arrest the individuals?  In this Module, we have reviewed three crimes that involve group activity: unlawful assembly, riots, and criminal gang participation. 

(1) Please identify the elements for each of these possible crimes and apply those elements to the facts in this hypothetical. 

(2) Which crime would best apply under the Model Penal Code? 

(3) Would your answer change if we were only using the Florida Statutes?

(4) After determining which one crime would be most likely the one used by the officer in this scenario to make her arrests, please change the facts of the hypothetical enough for the applicable crime to change as well.
