The critical assignment in this course is a descriptive evaluation of California Health Interview Survey (CHIS). You will choose and research a disease/health problem within CHIS data

Your paper should include background information on a health problem you identified within the CHIS data. Include discussion on criteria for cause and effect for your chosen health problem. Is it cause by the specific risk factors?

Conduct an analysis of the problem and compare your findings with other regions/locality. In your analysis, produce 2 x 2 table and calculate odds ratio (OR) and relative risk of your chosen health issue. Be sure to show your calculations. Please use credible OUTSIDE sources (e.g. peer reviewed journal articles, CDC, WHO, or your states department of health and human services) for the needed data and do not rely only on the CHIS site.

In your conclusion, describe the interaction of the host and environmental factors with your selected health problem and suggest interventions to break the chain of interaction.
