Hello to All and Welcome to the Course!

I have been teaching this course for a long, long time. It has been an exciting and interesting experience teaching this course fully online this spring and summer. I still have a lot to learn and I hope everyone will learn along with me. This is not the 1st time I have taught fully online courses over the years and it has been great to see online learning and teaching evolve. I remember the days where I had to build my own website from scratch and now we have so many tools available. In addition to teaching, I work in the professional world of optometry and optical. I'm occupied with patients during the day, but I enjoy interacting and learning from my patients.

Over the spring/summer during the stay at home period, I was able to do some of the things I enjoy and have not done in a long time. Such as leisure reading and crocheting just to name a few. I didn't realized how much I missed doing those things to de-stress. I also cleaned and de-cluttered my home. Whew......, was that a challenge. I didn't realize how much stuff I had accumulated over the years.

Cookie Monster is my favorite Sesame Street character. I like Cookie's positivity, motivation, and great energy.
