Essay Question:

Choose any event in history covered by 1900-1990 

1. Tell what happened.
2. Then, make up a "what if" it didn't happen as it really did. Explain the "what if".
3. Then explain how history would be different as a result of the new scenario.

This is an exercise in critical thinking skills. explain each of the sections, demonstrate the connections of events that are so important to understanding history, and explain those connections in describing how history would be different if the particular "what if" had actually happened.
