Assignment Description: 

1. The Annotated Bibliography begins with the abstract create earlier in this unit. Afterwards, students will evaluate sources found in/for their own research and compose an annotated bibliography listing at least SEVEN of these sources. Students must properly document their sources using an accepted academic citation format such as MLA and compose thorough, detailed annotations (ballpark of 200+ words per source) which evaluate each source’s content, credibility, and usefulness to the student’s argument. Each annotation answers the following three questions: 1. What is this source about? 2. How did/will I use this source? 3. What establishes the credibility for this source? Assignment Objectives
   • Construct citations for each source according to conventions
   • Summarize the content of each source
   • Evaluate the credibility of each source
   • Appraise the usefulness of each source to the student’s planned argument
