Setting Up Scenario and Packet Capture

1) Start Your Wireshark and capture on appropriate adapter with internet connection.

2) While Wireshark running for 5 mins, Try opening command prompt in your laptop and type in following command- ping google.com as well as logging into your Monroe student portal as well as the eLearn portal.

3) After the ping command finishes stop Wireshark capture.

4) Now from the captured traffic in Wireshark answer the following questions?

Q1. Can you provide screenshot of the first ping request made to google.com captured by Wireshark?

Q2. In reference to the Q1 what protocol made the ping request to google.com_____?

Q3. Can you provide screenshot of DNS record made to monrocollege.edu or elearn.monroecollege.edu?

Q4. In reference to Q3 what type of DNS query it made to monrocollege.edu____?

Q5.Can you provide screenshot of filtering of the packet capture in Wireshark only for protocol TCP?
