Step 1: Find 10 images inspired by any Frankenstein book and insert them into a document.

Step 2: Answer the following questions.

• What do you notice about the images?
• Were they inspired by the text or more by other media portrayals of the monster?
• If you just looked at the images would you get a sense for what the overall story might be about? If so, what is that message? If not, why do you think it is different?
• How is the message of the text changed by these depictions?
• When someone first hears the word Frankenstein, they typically think of the monster instead of Victor. Why do you think that is?
