Student Paper Presentations

• Each presentation should be between 15 and 20 minutes long including questions.
• You must have slides to present.
• These slides should have discussion questions embedded and at the end of the presentation.
  • Try to be interactive in leading the paper discussion.
  • Try to be creative in your presentation.
• Things to look for:
  • Environment – are we in the African Bush, or at a leading academic medical center?
  • Quality of the data and how it was measured.
  • Quality of how the data and results are presented.
  • Which steps in the six-sigma process did they use?
• Each presentation should include all the important figures.  For most papers this will include all the figures.
• You are encouraged to look at other outside resources about the topic of the paper.
