2 reports:

Write a 200-word evaluation for each speaker, due in Canvas by 12:30pm on the day following (i.e., 12:30pm on Tuesday) the speaker’s talk.

Write three paragraphs, one paragraph for each of the parts in the breakdown below.  The rubric that will be used for grading is as follows.

100 points total:  80 pts for content and 20 pts for spelling, grammar and composition.  Of the 80 content points, the breakdown is:

Summary of key points (45 pts)

What was best (25 pts)

What could be improved (10 pts)

Copying another student’s evaluation is not allowed.  If plagiarism is detected, all students involved will receive 0 credit for the evaluation and the students will be referred to the Office of Student Integrity.

One in depth report:

For each report, the first 200
words follow the same format as the usual speaker evaluations and the next 300 words
must be original research in your own words about the topic of the talk. Your text will
be tested for plagiarism (i.e., cutting and pasting from other’s writings) and you will
receive 0% if plagiarism is detected.
