A brief, illustrated report will be required describing your “visit” to the garden. You will need to present a summary of your experience and tell me about your favorite part of the garden, why, and what you learned. The report must be presented in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) or Apple’s Pages at 1.5 spacing in the Times or Times New Roman 12- point font. Other forms of presentation will not be accepted. The reports should be submitted via email. and labelled correctly as required and described previously, and in .doc or .pages formats The “field trip” and report are required to pass the course and a penalty of one-half grade per day past the due date will be assessed. The field trip is expected to add to your knowledge of science in general and plant science in particular. The approved world-class botanical gardens each have extensive collections and demonstrations. Each garden also features significant historical and cultural information that you might use in your report. The trips are always quite enjoyable. Once there, most students want to go again!

Familiarize yourself with the entire garden before you begin writing or subject selection. Then pick what seems of interest you most and proceed to dig into those sections where you will decide the sections one at a time by describing the sections or area and then select what fascinates you most and include your plant favorites. make sure you include details about the plants. dont rush. Make sure you provide narratives about the areas and plants in a manner that will educate someone who might go there.
