History 289R Spring 2021 Final Project The final project for HIST289R is designed to address a major question or theme that we have examined over the course of the semester. This assignment is meant to give you the best opportunity to demonstrate your understanding, your analysis, and your use of evidence in the history of American consumerism. Format You must submit your answers in the form of an essay. • Essay o Essay must be 4-5 pages (1000-1250 words) in length o Essay must include at least 6 secondary and 4 primary sources o Essay must include footnotes or endnotes (CHICAGO STYLE FORMAT) You must include primary and secondary sources cited appropriately.
