Give an example of a firm that you think might be a good example of a monopoly.
Is it 100% a monopoly - or are there aspects about it that don't exactly fit the assumptions of the monopoly model?
Is the monopoly model still useful to apply?
What is the reason that the firm is a monopoly? Is it a natural monopoly? Or has it occurred for a different reason?
Is there evidence that the market outcomes predicted by the model around things such as price, profits and so on do actually occur in that market?
