Just living in Illinois seems to lead to success. President of the United States Barack Obama himself lived there when he was elected, as did Abraham Lincoln and Ulysses Grant. Ronald Reagen grew up in Illinois! I don't believe it's a coincidence that so many great men came from the same state. Illinois is the country's biggest manufacturing center. Clearly, something about living in Illinois gives people a great drive to succeed. The University of Illinois is right in the middle of all this success, and as a business leader-to-be, that's right where I want to be, too. The University of Illinois markets itself well, playing up its strengths and organizing its website so the prospective student sees all the best things first. Even though you admit that your institution is losing money, the improvements you've made to the campus are incredible. Of course I want to study marketing with you! You hire only the best, and it's from the best that I would like to learn. I am passionate about marketing and about succeeding in my career. I want to make a name for myself in business. The University of Illinois has made a name for itself as being passionate about success too. I know studying there will help me achieve my goals in life. I know joining your community will fill my life with great things. I have just as many great things to put back into the University of Illinois.
