JK is a 30 year old male who enlisted in the Army two months prior to the audiology appointment. He was told he had hearing loss in the left ear – he had not been aware of any loss. He reported a history of noise exposure. He scuba dives. Other than aural fullness, bilaterally, he does not report any other significant history findings.
Otoscopy revealed clear ear canals and intact tympanic membranes. His audiometric findings are shown below.
