Storage blocks are bytes of information with a specific maximum length and block size dependent on the method used to store the data. In this assignment, you will write an essay in which you compare and contrast the attributes of the following three different methods of mapping user data to storage blocks: contiguous allocation, linked allocation, and indexed allocation. Your essay should, at a minimum, explain the functions of storage blocks and the advantages and disadvantages of all three methods. Your essay must contain an introduction and be a minimum of two pages in length, not counting the title and reference pages. You must use at least two sources, one of which may be your textbook. You are encouraged to use the CSU Online Library; however, you may use any other academic resources. All source(s) used, including the textbook, must be referenced; paraphrased and quoted material must have accompanying citations and be cited per APA style.
