Video assignment title:
Why do we learn ordinary differential equations (ODE)? How to apply ODE in engineering industry?

Introduction to the assignment:
This is an individual assignment to research on the ordinary differential equations (ODE), and its application in engineering industry. Imagine you are a lecturer that is going to give briefing (via video) on the ODE to high school students who have learned on the calculus knowledge. Show the students on the fundamental of ODE ( include the history/concepts/methods to solve ODE) and its application in the engineering industry of your choice, such as chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering etc
The main objective is to communicate clear and accurate information regarding the concepts of the ODE, methods to solve ODE and modelling/application of ODE in engineering industry in CREATIVE manner to a group of high school students. The maximum 5 mins video will be evaluated based on its accuracy, breadth and depth of the ODE knowledge, clarity, and ability to engage the audience (refer to rubric for more details). The assignment will contribute 20% in the total grade.
Assignment requirement:
1. The video should begin with a descriptive title, student name/ID/course, the module name, semester intake, and the year in which it was created. You need to use your own voice in the video.
2. The length of the video should not exceed 5 mins, upload the video into YouTube as unlisted video, paste the video link in Word file and submit into assignment folder in TiMES.
3. References used need to cite at the end/bottom of the video.
4. The content of the video must be original, and comply to the YouTube policies and guidelines (such as no harmful, no violent content etc.)
5. Due date for submission is Week 8, Mon, 16 May 2022, 10 am.
