Assignment 2: Individual Presentation

Time limit: 10 mins; Video size limit: 200MB
Students’ task is to present their findings of the individual report. The presentation topic must be the same as the topic in Assignment 1. However, extra information can be used in the presentation. Multimedia contents are welcomed.
Each student will need to upload a video recording of their presentation to Moodle by the above submission deadline. Note that the maximum file size accepted by Moodle is 200MB.
The recording can be done via platforms like Zoom or Webex. The video length should be at most 10 minutes. The presentation slides and the presenter’s face should be clearly visible.
Guideline to assess student’s oral presentation of individual report (10 marks in total)
Communication (2)
• Are presentation slides and presenter’s face clearly visible? (0.5)
• Is the presenter’s voice audible and understandable? (0.5)
• Appropriate use of non-verbal expressions (e.g., hand and face gestures) and effective eye contact to enhance the presentation (1)
Visual aids (2)
• Use of visual aids (e.g., graphics and/or pictures) (1)
• Effective design and management of visual aids to greatly enhance the presentation (1)
Content of the presentation (5)
• The structure of the presentation is logical and concise (1.5)
• The content is relevant and precise (1.5)
• The coverage of the topic area is comprehensive (2)
Adherence to timeframe (1)
• Time limit (i.e., 10 minutes) adhered to? (1)
