The 2 page essay would be about Character analysis of the story “ Emma Zunz “ 

MLA : 12 point Times New Roman ,Double spaced. Planning: Who are the main characters? Who are the secondary characters? 

-look for details about the appearance and personality and the personality of each character? How does the author describe them? Does he/she have peculiar physical or psychological characteristics? 

- think about what happens in the story. What problem is the character trying to solve? 

-Analyze the character's performance in the play. What decisions does he/she have to make to solve his/her problems?  What does the way he acts tell you about his personality? Take notes. Use this information in your description of the character. 

- Gather examples from the play that prove the character's characteristics. You can use quotes or describe a particular scene in your own words.

Introduction: present the character that you will be analyzing. Briefly describe the conclusion you have reached about each.

Analysis: write the analysis of the character. Describe it: identify the type of character and his or her personality. Comment on the problem he/she faces and how he/she reacts. Present your conclusions with the help of concrete examples from the play to support your analysis. 

Conclusion: summarize your conclusions about the character you analyzed.
