Use RS Means 2006 General Requirements found in this week's Module, CostWorks and personal judgment to develop realistic costs. Use personal experience to estimate the duration of the project.
Review the Attached Sub Quotes document found in this week's Module for the Berkeley Prep Maintenance Building Project. Input the cost into the Bid Master and "plug up" appropriately.
From your experience, input scope items into the Bid Master for all trades that should be checked for when future bids come in. For example, you may want to include some money for minor paint touch up during punch list on the Bid Tab 09J-Painting. It may be helpful to watch the Introduction to Bidmaster video in week 4 to refresh your memory on how to use the spreadsheet.
